Sip 5.0 brings a refreshed interface and a smoother workflow for picking, editing, organizing, and sharing colors.
Refreshed Interface
The menu, toolbar, palettes list, and Color Panel have been redesigned to keep the most common actions close at hand. Picking colors, switching formats, checking contrast, and managing palettes now feel more direct.
Improved Color Panel
The Color Panel gives you a focused place to inspect and adjust colors. You can fine-tune values with HEX, RGB, HSB, HSL, and alpha controls, then export, duplicate, or delete the selected color.
Better Palette Organization
Palettes are easier to manage with clearer actions for duplicating, exporting, locking, merging, grouping, and cleaning up duplicated colors.
You can also sort colors to make larger palettes easier to scan. Manual drag and drop is still available whenever you need a custom order.
Drag colors normally to move them. Hold ⌥ while dragging to copy them instead.
Color Dock Improvements
The Color Dock keeps selected palettes available at the edge of your screen. You can add or remove palettes, lock them, edit them, delete them, and drag colors out into your workflow.
Sip includes contrast checking and color blindness simulation so you can review palettes for readability and accessibility while you work.
Smart Formats and Smart Profiles help Sip adapt to the app you are using. Sip can apply the right output format when copying colors and the right color profile when picking from different apps.
